It’s been ages since we lived down the block from the McGrath family on Lorel Ave in Austin but the memories are very clear. I remember Tommy as the sweetest, kindest and funniest guy. My sympathy to Colette and their children and Maureen Gail.

I knew Tom when we both worked in 014 a hundred years ago. We regularly encountered each other thereafter as we made our way through lives as cops, way back when some folks even liked us. Tom was the kind of person you hoped to meet and work with when you came on the job. Quiet, confident, and competent. And with a heart big as a house.
Deepest condolences to all of his many loved ones.
