Condolences from Erika and Matt Guercio.
I vaugly remember, believe it was your house ( Tom McGrath ) before moving to Elgin or possibly Franks, Bobby came by for a get together in the afternoon. I was pretty young. He arrived through the back door, announced his presence and got a warm welcome, but didn’t enter the house yet.. He was just hanging his head around an open solid door. We couldn’t see his arms or body, just his head. Turns out, he was returning your golf club borrowed some time ago. You were happy to get it back! He slid the handle from behind the door and into sight ( viewing from the kitchen table maybe ). More happiness ensued… But then, in Bobby fashion, another shaft of a golf club came sliding out parallel to the first, just underneath….
The realization he broke your club set-in and everyone found it hilarious ( besides you obviously ) 🤣. You were kinda pissed, which was also funny! The whole room was laughing hysterically.
He had a way of making people laugh all the time. That’s what I will remember most about him, and also miss.
R.I.P Bobby!
