I remember Mike well from my years at Holy Name. He was generous with his time and tech expertise and always a pleasant presence. May he know God’s peace now.
Our Dear friend MJ, one of the kindest and most generous person I know. I am so glad to call him my friend, we traveled together around the world, to many dinners at the Golden Steer, drinks at blueberry hill and laughter over many phone calls. One of the funniest and most memorable was when MJ took a small group to Tokyo and was our tour guide, our friend Sandy whispered in my ear “you know a blind guy is telling us where to go” MJ laughed. When MJ was diagnosed with brain cancer I picked him up at Hines to take him home but he said let’s go to to the Steer first. He told Elba he had good news and bad news, the bad news was he had brain cancer the good news was his liver was fine. She was shocked by both statements haha she said your livers fine ?? MJ laughed and said they didn’t say anything was wrong with it, so it must be fine.
You will be missed my friend but your stories and laughter will be with me forever. I love you MJ
