Chicago visits to see Uncle Ed and Grandma with my parents & siblings were lots of fun. Ed would have the bunk beds set up for the kids and challenge us with brain twister games. Those visits introduced us to Jay’s potato chips, Jimmy’s hot dogs, Chicago musuems, and Macy’s Christmas windows. Ed enjoyed sharing in the hosting of our large family. His passing brings us all sadness. May our Lord receive and comfort him.
Be with us, Lord, in our time of need. Heal us in body, soul, and spirit that we may rejoice in your grace and blessings in this world and come to enjoy the fullness of your presence in the life to come.
